Leadership

Pastor Colin Schlegel

Pastor Colin has a passion to teach the Bible verse-by-verse and a heart to see God’s people be fully equipped to be fruitful disciples of Jesus.

Colin asked Jesus to be his Savior as a child, but it wasn’t until he was a teenager that he fully surrendered his life to the Lord. It was at that time that he developed a great love for the Word of God and for shepherding God’s people.

He served as a pastor at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel in Calgary for a number of years before moving to Saskatchewan to serve at Calvary Chapel Regina. Colin is married to Megan and they have two children, Ella and Lauren.

Elders Board

The ministry of Elders at CCR is to provide spiritual leadership, direction, and care to the church body.  Sound teaching brought to us through proper theology and doctrine will lead us into a firm understanding of the will of God in our lives, enlightened to us through the constant help of the Holy Spirit.

The Board of Elders is made up of Elders and Pastors and currently includes Pastor Colin and Greg Mile. Tyson Willems is also learning as a Junior Elder. The Elder's desire is to serve the body by being united in the direction the Lord is leading and working together to lead the flock after God's word and direction.

It is our desire to serve the Lord with humility, keeping nothing back that is helpful but proclaiming from house to house and testifying to all repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions for the church leadership - Please contact Greg Mile at gmile.gm@gmail.com.

The New Testament teaches us to appoint dedicated "Deacons", (meaning servants) to oversee the financial and practical accountability of the ministry. At CCR we have a Deacon team of very dedicated servants, including Brady Reid, Charity Mile, Greg Mile, Kaitlyn Willems, and our treasurer Connie Morris.

They tend to the administrative matters of CCR, bringing the Elder's vision to reality by setting financial budgets, controls, and policies to protect CCR’s reputation for financial integrity.

In 2019, the Deacon's Board was blessed to help CCR become a registered charity, which took effect January 1st 2020 as we became an independently-run church. There have been many administrative targets that God has faithfully provided for CCR as we stepped out by faith together. There is still much work to be done as we trust God to further establish CCR and the ministry Jesus has for us in Regina.
